Covid-19 Update from the Aldora Team
As a designated “Essential Business” during the COVID-19 response, Aldora is open for business and committed to keeping customers and team members safe while maintaining the glass and aluminum supply you need.
Customer and team safety is our top priority. Aldora is taking all health and safety precautions as directed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as state and local officials. Based on this guidance we’ve implemented, the following emergency protocols:
Customer Pick-Up
- Customers are asked to stay in their vehicles when picking up orders. The Aldora team is loading all order pick-ups.
- The production team is wearing gloves when loading orders.
Order Delivery
- Regularly scheduled delivery routes are operating.
- Delivery drivers are wearing gloves and delivery vehicles are being cleaned daily.
Aldora Facilities
- All Aldora facilities are operating but are closed to visitors.
- Team members are checked for COVID-19 symptoms before entering the building.
- Team members with flu-like symptoms are staying home.
- Sales representatives are taking care of customers needs via phone, email and other digital channels instead of making customer visits. Give us a call—We’re ready to talk about your supply needs!
- Workstations are cleaned each hour, and production workers are wearing gloves.
- Facility break rooms are closed.
These precautions protect you, our team and the glass and aluminum supply chain. Should Aldora branch locations be impacted by “Shelter-In-Place” orders, our “Essential Business” designation ensures we continue operating without disturbance. We’re committed to being the supplier you can count on to help frame what’s possible today and in the future.
Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions you have during this unprecedented time.
Stay safe and healthy,
Leon Silverstein and the Aldora Team
