Truck Dispatcher

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Truck Dispatcher

Truck dispatchers are responsible for managing the fleet of Aldora trucks and deliveries. This includes, but is not limited to dispatching the trucks and drivers, ensuring all company and customer delivering information is accurate and communicating regularly with drivers as needed.

Education Requirements

CDL Class B (Class A Preferred)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the truck fleet which includes (but not limited to) dispatching the trucks and drivers, while ensuring all company and customer information is accurate and communicating regularly with drivers, as needed.
Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads to customers or vendors.
Responsible for keeping records, monitoring driver daily logs for errors or violations and monitoring drivers' work hours and equipment availability.
Knowing the weather of all your drivers’ locations in order to flag potential issues.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Aldora is a drug free workplace, applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
